Thousands Of Maryland Classified Employees Association Members To See Potential Savings On Electricity Costs

Baltimore, MD (9/12/2012) - Direct Energy has partnered with the Maryland Classified Employees Association (MCEA), to roll out their Direct Choice program. The program provides a fixed electricity price for MCEA members and their friends and family that participate in the Direct Choice program. MCEA has over 6,000 members across the state. This means potential savings for their members, as well as their friends and family.

For the October 1st, 2012 through May 31st, 2013 billing cycles, MCEA members, as well as their friends and family, can potentially save on their electricity supply bills when they sign-up for this new program from Direct Energy.

The special offer from Direct Energy applies to MCEA members and their friends and family members that reside in the Potomac Edison, Baltimore Gas and Electric, Delmarva and Pepco utility territories. The special rates that are offered in these territories are as follows:

Potomac Edison $0.0579 per kWh*
Baltimore Gas & Electric $0.0829 per kWh*
Pepco $0.0785 per kWh*
Delmarva $0.0759 per kWh*

To enroll or learn more about Direct Energy's Direct Choice offer, MCEA members can contact Direct Energy's Customer Service Department toll free at: 1-866-803-4618, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
