Direct Energy Offers Fixed Electricity Price for Direct Choice Customers in Scott Township

Scott Township, PA (April 15, 2013) - Through a partnership with the Scott Township Athletic Association, Direct Energy has set a new fixed price for electricity customers who participate in the Direct Choice program. For every new customer that enrolls under this special program, $15.00 will be given back to the Scott Township Athletic Association.

For the June 2013-July 2014 billing cycles, Direct Choice customers in Scott Township will pay $0.0730 per kWh for electricity (exclusive of utility charges and taxes).

Direct Choice is a marketing agreement between Direct Energy and the Scott Township Athletic Association that allows residents and small businesses located in Scott Township to lock in their electricity supply price for a specified period of time.

New participants must have a residence or small business located in Scott Township and have their utility supply delivered by Duquesne Light. Participants must actively enroll into the Direct Choice program to benefit. To take advantage of the Direct Choice offer, individuals or small businesses need to be eligible to participate in the state's customer choice program. Further, Direct Energy encourages potential new participants that are under contract with another supplier to review their contracts for potential obligations prior to enrolling.
