Direct Energy will be presenting a brand new stove to Findlay's Hope House, a nonprofit organization that combats homelessness and poverty in Hancock County through individual and community education, affordable housing and advocacy. The stove will have double ovens and energy-efficient features so that Hope House can focus less on high energy costs and more on its mission to help the less fortunate. ?Receiving a new stove from Direct Energy is going to help us so much, especially with the holiday season being right around the corner,? says Shirley Morgan, residence manager and volunteer coordinator for Hope House. ?We're thrilled to be able to update our old stove so that we can continue our mission of supporting those in Findlay who need it the most.? Sometimes all it takes to brighten someone's day is a small act of kindness. The stove donation to the Hope House will take place on Thursday, November 21st, 2013 at 10:00 am at Hope House's shelter located at 419 Western Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
