Company will expand to new markets and serve more customers next year with new offerings Sarasota, FL (December 30, 2013) - 2013 brings more growth for Direct Energy Services, a division of Houston, Texas based Direct Energy. The division experienced more than 10 percent growth in 2013, even in a recovering economy. Direct Energy Services is the largest home services provider in North America in the HVAC, plumbing and electrical industries. It is also the franchisor for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing®, One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning® and Mister Sparky® electric. According to Scott Boose, President of Direct Energy Services, the company served more than 3.4 million customer relationships across North America this year. The franchise side of the business which includes, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and Mister Sparky electric, added 84 territories in 2013. Brand recognition continues to increase as well. The three brands are on track to deliver two billion advertising impressions this year. Some of the success of Direct Energy Services comes from the addition of new products and offerings. The company introduced protection plans, leasing of HVAC equipment and a water heater rental program. Direct Energy Protection Plans now has 1.5 million plans in service in North America.
