Direct Energy Re-launches, Renames Market Intelligence Business Blog

Enhanced Business Blog is One of Many Digital Initiatives to be Unveiled

Pittsburgh, PA (July 19) - Direct Energy has re-launched and re-designed its business blog, Energy Management Today, now located at www.business.directenergy.com/blog.The blog is one of many digital initiatives unveiled by Direct Energy, including their recent website re-launch.

Energy Management Today went live on Friday, July 12, and the developers and designers have spent the last two months integrating the blog as part of the Direct Energy Business website to streamline the user experience and to greatly improve the blog's visibility in search engines. In particular, businesses will find that the new blog has a fresh look and feel with easier and more intuitive navigation making information more accessible to visitors.

"The newly designed Direct Energy Business blog will make it even easier for businesses to find information about the U.S. energy market, the latest energy news, and more," said Hans Rottmann, senior manager, market intelligence, Direct Energy Business. "At the end of the day, our goal is to provide added value to businesses, helping them understand energy and become better consumers of energy."

In the next six to eight months, Direct Energy plans to add new digital tools and features providing business customers added benefits including increased mobile functionality and convenient access to their usage information. It's part of a larger digital strategy to make Direct Energy the hub of retail energy intelligence, and help businesses become smarter consumers of energy. Customers should also expect to see a more robust and easier-to-use online account management system and enrollment process.
