Direct Energy executive and others enter dunk tank to raise money for charity

Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh (July 11, 2013) – Photo and Interview Opportunities

WHAT:

Direct Energy and Pittsburgh Magazine honor Scott Pipitone, president and CEO of Pipitone Group, as the 2013 Pittsburgh Small Business Community Heroes awardee for his dedication to community investment and revitalization.

 

WHO:

Representatives from Direct Energy and Pittsburgh Magazine will be on hand to present two checks in Scott Pipitone's name of $1,000 to two charities of his choice: Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation and the Good Grief Center for Bereavement Support, a division of Ursuline Senior Services. Staff, clients and vendors of Pipitone Group will also be on hand for the festivities.

 

WHERE:

Pittsburgh Parking Authority's Observatory Hill Parking Lot on Perrysville Avenue (near Pipitone Group, located at 3933 Perrysville Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15214) (If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will have the event at the Pipitone Group's office at the address listed above)

 

WHEN:

Thursday, July 11, 2 to 4 p.m.
2-2:30: Welcome, check/award presentations
2:30-4: Dunk tank for charity (weather permitting) and block party (indoor or outdoor)

 

VISUALS:

Direct Energy and Pittsburgh Magazine will be presenting an award and checks to Scott Pipitone and his two designated charities. Attendees will be dunking a Direct Energy executive and others to raise money for the aforementioned charities.
