The deal, which starts in May 2013, was managed through Acclaim Energy Advisors. "Dallas Market Center decided on a longer-term deal because they wanted to sign an agreement that provided them protection, but still allowed them to participate in downward market movements," said Trish Collins, vice president of Acclaim Energy Advisors. Through Direct Energy, Dallas Market Center, who hosts 50-plus markets each year attended by more than 200,000 buyers from across the globe, will see significant savings for their electricity.
