Double digit growth for franchise brands

Sarasota, FL (January 15, 2014) - 2013 brings more growth for the Clockwork Home Service's brands. The brands include Benjamin Franklin Plumbing®, One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning® and Mister Sparky® electric. The three brands enjoyed more than 12 percent same store sales growth in 2013, even in a recovering economy. The company is the largest home services provider in North America in the HVAC, plumbing and electrical industries.

According to Mark Baker, President of Franchise, the company added 98 territories in calendar year 2013 and served more than 3.4 million customer relationships across North America. Brand recognition continued to increase as well. In 2013 the company launched a national advertising campaign that generated more than two billion advertising impressions.

One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning was named the #1 Franchise in the HVAC services category by Entrepreneur magazine and ranked #150 in the magazine??™s latest Annual Franchise 500. Mister Sparky was named #1 Franchise in the electrical services category and ranked #299 in the annual list. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing ranked #346. The three brands were also ranked by Franchise Times magazine in the Top 500 franchise chains in worldwide sales. One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning ranked #164, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing ranked #241 and Mister Sparky electric ranked #368.

Some of the success of 2013 comes from the addition of new products and offerings. The company introduced protection plans, leasing of HVAC equipment and a water heater rental program. The three brands also have customer satisfaction scores that are considered among the highest in the industry. In 2014 the company will expand the protection plan and leasing programs to all the markets where it operates.
