Back to list Service & repair Aug 24, 2015 23:00 Direct Energy Customers Can Earn 'Plenti' of Savings Houston, TX (August 25, 2015) - Imagine paying your energy bill and in return, receiving savings on a new pair of designer shoes, a tank of gas, or household items. Direct Energy now offers sign-up Plenti points that can be used for savings through Plenti, a coalition customer loyalty program launched in May by American Express. Starting in August, new and current Direct Energy customers can now earn 1,000 Plenti points when they sign up for, or renew, a qualifying plan and enroll in Plenti. Customers in applicable markets can also earn an extra 1,000 points each time they participate in a qualifying activity, including signing up for an additional qualifying plan, paperless billing or automatic payments. Customer eligibility can be viewed at www.directenergy.com/plenti. In addition, Direct Energy customers who join the Plenti program can continue earning one point for each eligible energy dollar they spend, as long as their bill is paid on time. 10,000 Plenti points is equivalent to $100 shopping dollars. Plenti points can be used for savings at certain Plenti partners, including AT&T, Exxon, Macy's, Mobil and Rite Aid. Direct Energy customers can sign up for Plenti for free at Plenti.com then link their Plenti ID to Direct Energy's online account manager to earn points. Customers do not need to have or use an American Express credit card to earn points. Plenti launched this spring and is expected to grow to include more brands in additional categories.
