Back to list Service & repair Nov 01, 2016 00:00 First Choice Power Announces Power To Win Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner Houston, TX - First Choice Power, a Direct Energy company, gave away more than $2,500 in free electricity to customers through the Power to Win sweepstakes from June 1st to August 31st. Thirty customers won a week's worth of free electricity, and one customer won a year of prepaid electricity. At the end of each of the three months, 10 customers were chosen to receive a week's worth of free prepaid electricity. On August 31st , First Choice Power announced Adan Ramos from Irving, Texas as the grand prize winner, who will receive one free year of prepaid electricity. "The Power To Win sweepstakes is a way for us to reward our customers for their loyalty," said JP Campione, US Retention Marketing Manager. "The summer tends to be the hardest time of year for many of our customers given the extremely hot temperatures we experience in Texas, which directly impacts a customer's electricity usage and bill amount, so we were happy to provide them with the opportunity for some relief with the chance to win free electricity." To qualify for the Power To Win sweepstakes, customers had to be enrolled in the Power-To-Go program and be an active customer for a year.
