Back to list Service & repair Nov 20, 2017 21:08 Direct Energy Donates $100,000 to American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey Relief HOUSTON – As Houston continues to recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, donations continue to pour in. Direct Energy recently presented the American Red Cross with a check for $100,000 in donations for Hurricane Harvey Relief. Half of the amount was raised by employees and through a public campaign that included weeks of radio commercials, with Direct Energy matching up to $50,000. The check was presented by Direct Energy External Affairs Vice President Jessica Mahaffey to the interim head of the American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast Region, Josett Valdez.
